Question:
What should I bring to my initial consultation?
Answer:
You may be wondering what to bring when you meet with an attorney. I often tell a new client to bring anything and everything that they believe they have on the case. That could be photographs and maybe a police report if you have one. If it’s a trip and fall accident, bring photographs of the defect where you fell. You’ll also want medical records and discharge papers if you went to a hospital. as well as insurance information. If it’s a car accident, we would want the insurance information on the car that you were in if you have it. If you have the insurance information for the other vehicle, we would want that too. Certainly, these things we can get, but if you have these documents, it would be wise to bring it to your meeting with the attorney.
